Anyway,.... in my opinion, female genital mutilation is a part of an ancient custom.
As human civilization develops and improved to be more civilized,... a practice like female genital mutilation should be classified as obsolete.

The developed civilization, however, must provide the information why such apractice does not need to be supported and does not need to be maintain. The developed civilization such as the modern medical world should be able to provide the evidence that female genital mutilation does not result in health advantages etc.

This kind of custom should vanish from civilized societies; this custom should vanish along with those who established it in the first place.

By the way, Michael Jackson who sang the song of which the lyric Bambang quoted above, actually had practiced mutilation to his own body (skin, nose, lips, cheekbones), though I'm not sure if he had done it to his female genital.

yes you are right, mutilation is only for men. Ancient traditions did that for women but unfortunately such horrible thing is still passing from one generation to another.
