USA is the only country (from what I know) that has a law for every case. If you hir your feet in the street because the block is in bad condition you could go to the tribunals and ask for justice.
But it is different that the Constitution give you rights, than the use that people on the government do of the laws. I mean that sometimes the terms of the Constitution are manipulated in a opossite direction to the benefits for the citizens.
And that happen in all the countries, include USA
Only that dear.

Okay.... although it's not related to what I told Danyet, but okay.....

That's right, I don't like the States and I won't miss it but I have family members living there and I have to visit every once in a while.

I cannot discribe that I like the United States or not. However, what I can only say now is that the world is going to be Americanization from the end of the Cold War. I went to the States, Los Angeles just few weeks ago. People in the L.A. treated me good. That was a good memory for me. However, look at the point of Iraq War, I always think that the American want to show how they are strong to the rest of the World. So, I cannot decide which side. However, Japanese Prime Minister, Junnichiro Koizumi, really really like to follow the United States.

Like any place that is famous in world there are a lot of false assumptions and misunderstandings. I think you can go anywhere in the world once or twice and have an excellent or horrible time. I spent a week in Korea and had a good time. My friend spent a week and had a terrible time. What does that mean? That we each experienced about .0001% of Korea, so both our experiences don't really prove anything.

On May 1st there were peaceful and positive immigrant rights marches all over the US. Two of the biggest were in Los Angeles. They were peaceful, the marchers were very positive and happy, the police were professional and cooperative. The whole experience was quite amazing. I took pictures of both marches, they are here: http://www.nomanisillegal.com Please check it out.

The US has some many different people and different sides. It really is like a collection of 50 different countries. I mean you could visit LA as a tourist and never even meet any of the 1,000,000 people that participated in these marches.

Cheers!
