G.Bush's budget in 2006

Postby Remanu » Sun Feb 12, 2006 8:59 am

What do you think about this? He increases greatly the national budget for army and reduces sharply on education and health. Some politicians called this as stupidity and shame. Not only that, his budget hurts the middle-class and helps the rich! His mind can't change really! L*L!

There are two sides to every story.

Bush seeks to sharply reduce or eliminate entirely 141 government programs. Almost one-third of the targeted programs are in education including ones that provide money to support the arts, vocational education, parent resource centers and drug-free schools.
These are stupid programs anyway that tax payers won't have to foot the bill for anymore, meaning taxes for middle class is getting a break.

We all know that it is against the law to bring a bag of crack cocaine into a school, so why do we have to pay to have these signs up everywhere telling us "Drug Free Zone". These are some of the types of programs to be cut.

And Art Programmes? ......you mean art like .......when a buch of kids get dressed up like carrots and turnips and wait for the "evil" farmer to come along and throw fertilizer on them?

Well, there are kids who still sell drugs near the campus even with the signs. What do you say about that?
