In my opinion movies ARE a part of culture! It is wellknown that a typical american knows more from Hollywood movies that from his school's lessons in every spheres ...maybe except math... Hollywood and CNN's TV are more effective tools in USA than even religion in muslim countries

American soldier is happy to lose his life in Iraq because he knows from Hollywood movies that only american superhero can save the world from bad terrorists, communists and so on ....or even from bad creatures from another galaxy ...

I am not sure about Forest Gump, but in my opinion Michael Jackson is a symbol of so-called american culture and every american girl dreams about a night with Michael Jackson.

Please let us know what reputable research has been conducted that supports your claim, Misi. Where did you get your information? I'd say you ought to look for a more reliable source.

Your Michael Jackson statement is a further indication of what you "know" about America: absolutely nothing. Is writing garbage a hobby of yours? Man, oh, man. I can only shake my head in disbelief.
