My cousin's wife once joked that my aunt's pizzas tasted like they had fish sauce in them. My aunt was like, "hey!" I, myself, can't cook Vietnamese or Chinese food without fish sauce. I can't cook the food with salt. It's really hard to measure and hard to fix if you've overdone it. :(

You gotta be kidding!  Is life that hard in the States? Here, people have at least one month vacation a year.

Our lunch breaks even get cut down. Last time, Walmart's employees in my city sued Walmart because they had to work during their lunch break. Low-paid employees don't get an hour break, talking about three weeks vacation with paid.

Anyway, I think we should add the Simpsons and I love Lucy to the list also.

No kidding! People here work like a machine. If you’re lucky you work for a good company, you may get a good benefit from it. However, a month off is hard to get for American employees. I know people in Europe have a long vacation and there is law in some countries requiring employers give the employees at least a month off when they start with the company. It’s a dream for American :(

and if you're Quebecois, she's not really your Queen anyway.

This fact is probably one of Canada's biggest problems! The Canadians with French ancestry don't seem to realise that they lost the war and that they are now members subjects of the British Monarchy.

By the way, Americans have probably the worst working conditions of ALL industrialised nations. Don't be fooled you people who want to come to USA. You may very well be treated better at your jobs in your native countries than here in America.
