How are things going?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone in the USA.

I have posted a similar topic in the Australia forum. I was just wondering how the current economic situation is effecting people that live in the US. From the information that I have America has been impacted terribly by the fall in the stock exchange, which flunctates terribly everyday. How are people coping?

Do you think that the change in government and President will make a real difference?

I would be interested to hear what you think?

Jobs are few but life has not changed much.

Obama will ruin the USA socially and he may even make the economy worse with his higher taxes. Obama was mentored by Marxists while growing up so you should be able to guess how he will run things.

Yes I came back! And I hate it. Russia is much more interesting ...though I see nothing good for Russia's future. Next I will go to Australia.

Oh that sounds sad. My 2009 resolution (one of them anyway) is to stay positive! :-D
