Hello from the Philippines! It's not Latin America, that's for sure, but we were a colony of Spain for 273 years. We have Spanish-sounding names, streets and cities - and up to the early 8os, learned Spanish compulsorily. We still have some remnants of Spanish culture, in that, we're warm and have a boisterous laugh.

Pinay, nice to meet you.
I´m from Andorra, a little country between spain and france. I see here there is ´people from spain.
I´m not from any country of latin america, but I have a cousin at mexico, beautifull country.
Do you know how philipinnes has some similarities with latinamericana? Because a ship that 2 centuries ago used to trip from mexico to philipiness calle The Nao of China.
The ship transported different products. There is a beautifull story about the Nao that maybe later I could tell you. Is about a chinesse beautifull woman who trip to mexico in the Nao, after she got to mexico she becoming in the traditiona "China poblana", I think a personality in some region of mexico. Is a love story.

I'd love to read about Andorra. I'm wondering about the kind of culture you'd have stuck between Spain and France. Would you have any similarities in culture living in such close proximity with both countries? I live and work in the hustle and bustle of Manila but I grew up in an island called Panay, surrounded by beautiful crystalline waters. Our dialect, Ilonggo, has a lot of Spanish words in it and our tall and tan and young and lovely women have names like Rosario, Maria and Divinagracia... our strapping young men have names like Ricardo, Ziolo or Roberto.

Si, Barcelona es una de mis ciudades preferidas.

Viva la Sagrada Familia ! El parco Güel ! etc.

Me gustan la paella y la sangria !

Heu... I haven't visited any other city in Spain, but I am for the sovereignty de la Catalonia !
