If you are looking for a beach, then I would recommend either Punta Cana or Cancun (Mexico). If you are looking for a more "cultural" kind of trip you can always visit Machu Picchu in Peru, or the Mayan Ruins in Guatemala or the Aztec ruins in Mexico.
