Translation?

Postby Shazzam » Thu Oct 20, 2005 12:28 pm

I was wondering how many people in this forum feel that it is important to be able to speak english before they visit Australia.

Australia has a very good system. We seem to cater very well with non-english speaking people. My understanding is that most people feel comfortable coming to Australia.

Have you ever had a problem with translation in Australia?

Trust me, you would not like it there, unless you changed your attitude. Most Aussies are not kind like Shazzam....... They are like me!!

I have to admit ahmads you would do a lot better speaking english in Australia (obviously). I also have to admit that I have no desire to learn arabic ( please don't be insulted by this ) I just don't have an interest it the language. If I was to learn an additional language my first choice would be french. I started learning it in High School and I find it a lovely language.

Daynet ,
I didn't see any main Idea in your topic.
I will tell you something((I know your reply will be tough with bad words)):
all people have a good part and a bad part, but you can specificate that..
so you can be good If you talk good with people ,
and treat them as you like they treat you .
but you can not say :
all people are bad if you bad :D

I am telling you that ALL the Aussies I know think the same as me. They do not want ONE more Muslim to come to Australia. Do not be fooled by Aussie media or Government literature. You will not be welcomed by over half of Aussies.
