If you want to be welcome in Australia you must adopt Australian ways and customs so you will have to give up your Muslim ways. No body wants to sit next to a kid in school who has to stop five times a day to pray!! Nobody wants to see people at the beach wearing all their clothes. Girls must wear skimpy bathing suits.

If you come to Australia only to recreate your homeland and society, there will be trouble for you because you will be guilty of ruining a beautiful country with happy people. You will be the invader.

You will not be "commanded" but if you don't do these things you will not be accepted by the majority of Aussies. They will want you to go back to your own land. You will expected to become like an Aussie. Aussie's like to drink beer. I have seen enemies made because one man did not want to have a beer with another. Aussie's like to go to the beach in skimpy bathing suits. Aussie's like to stay home with their family and friends instead of working all the time like Americans do. That is why the stores or shops in Australia are closed at night and on week-ends.

Very funny! Actually Aussies refer to the way they talk sometimes as "Strine", which is how the word "Australian" sounds when spoken by a "true blue Aussie".

I'm still here, just not as often this week. I have been SUPER busy. Don't worry ahmads 'us aussies' are really a friendly mob! It is the same in every country in the world, of course aussies want people to come here and embrace our culture. That goes without saying. However most Australians understand that we aren't all the same and that has to be respected, just as much as our culture. From what I have noticed most people in time come to embrace and love Australian culture because it is so 'laid back'. 8)

Hi This is a funny debate...Aussies can be seen in the films about Crocodile Dundee am I right?
Maybe this is not the best example but if you take away some of the commercialization in that flick you might get an idea...
Oh bother! Now I cant remember ...it has been so long since I saw them, but I think Dundee is an Aussie! anyway it is not a very good example since it is a movie but you can hear the accent of thier english in certain movies. Maybe Danyet will tell us what to watch to hear the "English" or is it Aussie? they speak...which is beautifully embellished with the native influence or I like to say flavor.

It is a beautiful thing that people love their countries so much!
I envy that! And I wish I had more Love for my country, but I guess you are best to understand your own country after visiting many others. I need to go round the world and come back to appreciate it maybe. I love the natural world but many of the people have a long way to go...as we all know, and the politics are not quite right... even professors here will tell you the democratic thing is a big sham...that big money runs it all....
Travel is the best way to broaden our minds I think.
I want to visit all of you and we can just see how terribly different we are, and how much we are alike.

Ahmad I have followed your posts all day today to prove my interest in our friendship. I am very tired because I have only stopped for a while to eat, and a half hour more to rest with one show about cooking. Now I must stop but it has been fun and the first time I have played this game.
Maybe next I will follow the posts of the wild-man Danyet, who knows? but then there are all the girls who are very interesting too!

Dont be so mad about the difference of opinions they are to be expected no? we are coming from different cultures and  sometimes brogught up with very opposite ideas and circumstances SO....we cant all be just the same! :P
Since it is the weekend all my asian and british shows will be playing soon ...gotta go now!
