to Shazzam, Christmas is an usual day in Vietnam except for the Catholics, so I don't even have a lunch. The atmostphere in Christmas day is also not as exciting as your country. I wish I can spend a Christmas day in your country, I see on the TV that your Christmas day is very exciting and crowded.

I hope one day you will have the opportunity to experience an Aussie Christmas.  It is very hot here at Christmas time so if you want the 'white christmas' experience you would need to go somewhere in Europe. One day I would love to experience a 'white christmas'. I have often thought I will save my money and go and visit my relatives in Ireland at Christmas time.

Well even though you don't celebrate Christmas hatsumi I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful and safe New year. :)

thanks, Shazzam, and I wish you too.
I have a Vietnamese wish for you which we usually congratulate each other in the Lunar New Year- our traditional spring festival to welcome a new year.

VAN SU NHU Y!

It means that wish you have a new year in which all of your dreams, your wishes, your life, family, job and so on will be as you want.

Well the Christmas celebration has finished.

What a day! It was so hot here. We decided to cook our christmas fare outside as it was way too hot to have an oven running inside.

We had roast turkey (with cranberry sauce; of course)seasoned roast chicken, roast potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, carrots, beans and gravy! YUMMY!

All this cooked on a bbq! 8) Whoever invented the roast hood for bbqs is a legend. 8) I will never cook a roast inside again! :D
