This is a saying my husband uses all the time:

"Is a ten pound sparrow fat?"
(Basically it means CERTAINLY, or for sure). :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Here is an example of its use:

I would say to him "Have you had a bad day?" his response "Is a ten pound sparrow fat?". :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have never heard the term 'strine' before :?: Can you tell me what it means? :?

Fair dinkum (means something legitimate; real, trustworthy, honest). :wink:
