Last year in Australia credit card debts were out of control, with most consumers putting all their Christmas purchases on credit cards. This year there has been a swing against credit card purchases and people are planning ahead with Lay-by systems. I don't know if lay-by system is available in other countries. In Australia alot of the large stores have a system where they advertise toy sales in July. They do this with a pick it up Christmas Eve clause. This gives you heaps of time to pay off the items you want for Christmas. How cool is this?????
