I hope you are kidding :!: They are an expensive waste for lazy people that can't be bothered to operate a washing machine.

Shazzam, you bought diapers for your kids or you used cloth? You can wash diapers made with cloth, but not the kinds they have on market. Right? Or Am I slow with both of you guys' jokes? :?

I used cloth nappies on my babies. There were alot of reasons why at the time. I have to admit it wasn't about the environment (as I didn't know about the fact that they don't break down). It certainly is the most economical way, but there are several other reasons too.

Awww taking me back to time when I was wearing cloth diaper and running around. Same thing for my brother and most of the kids I know. Anyway, I must say I don't like cloth diapers although my mom loves them.

  I know that cloth nappies aren't very popular anymore. It would be nice if young parents would moderate though. For example use disposables if they are going out and use cloth at home. At least it might reduce landfill a little. A little is better than nothing.

Cloth diapers are harder on babies bottoms. It is much more healthy for them. To hell with the enviorment I say (on this issue at least). When we are done with this ball of dirt God will get us another one!!

I would love to know where you get your stats on this one Danyet   From what I have read disposable nappies are perfumed and they can cause nappy rash more easily than cloth. The reason for this is because you need to change the baby more regularly with cloth than disposables so you are keep the moisture away from their skin. How many nappies have you changed anyway Danyet :?: I'm amazed you could put your gun down long enough to carry out such a disgusting deed.

I have changed thousands of nappies. I have even changed those terrible and yucky cloth ones. Well actually I couldn't bear to wash the cloth ones so I just threw them away and switched to disposable. The leftover cloth nappies were made into shop rags and for polishing my pick-up truck.
