Your link to the Channel 9 news site is a perfect example of media social engineering. Notice the exclaimation "the far right" when addressing the Australia First Party? On whose autority do they say that? Just an opinion, not really a fact, since it is subjective. Perhaps if the Aussie media realized the fact that the AFP only appears far right to them because the media are biased so far to the left they would report news accuately. Not likely though! They know full well what they are doing! They want every one to think that anyone who that believes in the Aussie Way and keeping Australia as such is a nutcase. The AFP has no intentions of ruining Australia Day. On the contrary they will be there to protect it from being turned into "Global Awareness Day"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry Danyet I have my own opinions and the media coverage only alerts me to issues, it doesn't give me all the facts that I need. If I need more information I research for myself. I don't think there will be any more problems on Australia Day I think it is being pumped up by the media to create a story, they are running out of news. I think most of the issues have been cleared up in the South of Sydney. However I could be wrong! It wouldn't be the first time.

Interestingly enough one of my family members just returned from Australia about 2 hours ago. We had a talk about the media in Australia and the general opinion on politics and such. He has confirmed my fear of the swing to the left by a lot of Australians. The news, media, TV and arts in OZ appears to have gone way off beam and very biased. It must take a very strong mind to stay unbrainwashed down there.

It seems as though that Aussies take a lot more notice of Europe and European ideas than American. This is a grave mistake! The US Constitution and Bill of Rights is far superior than anything Europe has. The problem is that These Documents have been under attack by the Left in the US for years now and I'm afraid that it is beginning toe take it toll. The whole world is turning Left. Individual Rights, once reverered, are beginning to be rediculed as out dated and unrealistic. Soon, it will be BIG BROTHER for us all.

I know you all think that the Right will be responsible for that but ........I tell you....it will come in through the Left.

Anyway it was interesting to hear of the changes that friends back in OZ have undergone in the last three years. You probably don't notice it as much when you live with it every day. The true Aussies are dying.

Don't worry Danyet I'm carrying the sword for AUSSIE's!!

I must admit I don't agree with being like any country, American, Britian or others. We have developed our own identity over the years (this is something the pollies need to get through their thick skulls). We just need to be Australian and not led by other countries.

"to prevent a third night of racial violence by youth gangs who have attacked people, smashed cars and hurled rocks at police."

"Racial violence erupted at Sydney’s Cronulla Beach on Sunday when some 5,000 people, some yelling racist chants, attacked youths of Middle Eastern background. Police said white supremacists incited it.

Drunk mobs of youths, some wrapped in Australian flags, said they were defending their beach after lifesavers were attacked. They believe the attackers were of Lebanese background.

On Monday, gangs of youths, mainly of Middle Eastern background, attacked several people with baseball bats, vandalized cars and were involved in rock-throwing skirmishes with police for a second night, officials said."

Ok, it's time for these people to make an appointment with psychologists. When are we gonna learn?!?!?!??!!

I spoke with a policeman who was with the NSW police and he confirmed the story. He said that had he been working there during the Sydney riots he would have been scared too. I just could not believe that the plice backed off and did nothing to stop those thugs. He said that that is just how they operate in Australia. The cops back off and come back later in a "dawn raid" and make the arrests when the bad guys are sound asleep in their beds.

Sorry but I don't find that too credible. To begin with there had been racial tension on Cronulla beach for quite a while. Young Australian men and women were hounded on the beach and spat at by Middle-eastern men for months. This also happened in the streets where women were called 'tramps, sluts, etc' in front of their husbands and boyfriends. I don't agree with the actions on this particular occasion but from what I witnessed the Police did everything they could to keep the peace.
