Men used to open doors for their girlfriends and pull out their chairs for them and really treat you like a princess (for at least the first few months). Young guys in Australia seem to walk in front on their girlfriends and hardly ever take them anywhere, they just seem to hangout. I'm not even talking about teenagers; i'm talking about men in their 20's.
Are things like this elsewhere Is the dating game over. Have women fought for equality to such an extent that they are just treated like mates now
Since the time of our first date up till today my boyfriend still does those things. Although he's not in his 20's, I don't think it would make a big difference since all the guys I dated in the past reacted the same way like he does. They opened the door for me, paid for dinners, movies, and they walked me to the door when the date was over. Additionally, even my male cousins and my female cousins' boyfriend do the same thing. When we go out as a group, whoever is driving is gonna open the door for us to get in the car first. They also pay for stuff.
In my opinion I think this is a part of how one was brought up. To me, I see more Asians in the States pay for their dates/girlfriends/wives than Caucasians. I hardly know any Asians who do 50/50 on a date. I bet you a hundred bucks that Susu opens the door for his girl friends or female cousins .
