Christmas decorations.

Last night I took my daughter for a drive to see all the Christmas decorations on peoples houses.

When I came home I realised that Australian's are decorating their lawns with plastic snowmen, snowflakes etc. I must admit I had a laugh the temperature here was 36 degrees yesterday. The forcecast for Christmas day is 38 degrees.

I would love to see a snowman in that sort of temperature.

I have to wonder why Australian's use the european 'white christmas theme?' I mean it is never going to happen.

We should have Koalas, kangaroos and bbq's dressed with lights and tinsel, it would be more appropriate.

OMG Lenny 250 years ago. We are a mixing pot now. I think we need our own identity. The referendum for us to become a republic 7 years ago didn't get passed, but I reckon if they tried again now, we would get a much different result and Australia could finally break away from old english ways that are totally irrelevant to this country now.
