Thats the difference. We have a four term system here and in addition a usual students day is 5-6 hours a day. So per week a student would study (full-time) 25-30 hours per week.

Shazzam ,,every week the students have 15-20 hours , we just pay them,,, for all period of term.
in Australia the studying is very expensive .

I know a lot of people come from overseas to study at our universities so there must be a system in place to pay these fees. The standard of living in Australia is quite high (people earn over $45,000 per year on average so I suppose this is how fees are adjusted. Anyway you are lucky if you have cheap education in your country you should send your brothers then you wouldn't have to do the job. :)
