Heath Ledger and his partner were at a red carpet event in Sydney last week for the opening of his new movie. The paparazzi opened fiire on him with water pitols (there were only three of them that did this). I watched it on television and you could see that he didn't know what was going on and actually looked terrified. When you think about it they could have been squirting anything at him, his partner looked horrified.
The men involved say that it was revenge as during the course of the last few weeks he had apparently spat at one of them when they were chasing him through the streets of Sydney trying to get a picture of him and his partner.
I think they were acting like children, and that it was a really silly act. I don't blame him for being concerned. Apparently he is considering having the culprits charged with assault.
