Peter Brock - King of the Mountain killed in accident

Postby Shazzam » Fri Sep 08, 2006 9:59 am

Peter Brock the greatest car racer in Australian History (won Bathurst 10 times) was killed today in a rally race in Western Australia when his car hit a tree. He was 61 years old.

Australia has lost two legends this week. Very sad indeed.

State funeral for Peter Brock today. I wont be watching!!

I think he was a horrible selfish man.

His will has just been read and after 28 years together and three children he has left them nothing. He left it all to the woman that he ran off with 18 months ago (she was the wife of his best friend). What a goose. What a legacy to leave for your grandchildren.

Another driver was killed this weekend at the Bathurst 1000 "PORTER" that was his last name he was from New Zealand. It is becoming a very dangerous sport; it always was but I think that these drivers are taking more and more risks for the sponsors. This driver has left behind a one year old son which is so upsetting. Maybe it needs to be regulated a little better. :(
