What do you do to find a moment of peace?
What is a place or a practice that makes you feel at peace with yourself, with others, and with the world?
What advice would you give others that are suffering; or what help would you offer?
I would be interested as I think that we have reached a point in Australia that we don't really care about each other; it is quickly becoming like the US; where money matters and nothing else.

I didn't grow up this way!

Last time, my boyfriend's neighbors did it. Three cops and two firemen came. Those firemen even brought their truck with them. They also handed out fliers and little hats for kids. I gotta climb on the truck and yank the horn . The whole thing was really nice. They ate, exchanged casual conversation, and gave out ideas how to protect each other's house or keep the whole neighborhood safe by watching over each other.
