Australia's richest man marries again - James Packer

Postby Shazzam » Wed Jun 20, 2007 10:09 pm

Well the internet this morning is covered with images of the extravagent second wedding for James Packer at the Riviera. What a waste of money. It seems from what I have read everyone who is anyone (or thinks they are) has attended the celebrations including Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri (lets face it he would turn up to the opening of an envelope these days).

Check out ninemsn.com.au for details (if you think it is news worthy).

You don't need to he is just a really rich dude@! Thanks to his now deceased DADDY. He is the equivalent of Rupert Murdoch. Media orientated money.

A social gap

Postby Bambang » Sun Aug 05, 2007 4:15 pm

Some rich people are spending a lot of money for nothing while millions of people are starving to death.

What a social gap :!:

This gap will trigger a social riot.

There is nobody starving in Australia. So, no social riot.

Australia is a free country. People are free to be selfish if they want. That is true freedom. You can not understand this because you have never known what it is to be free. Your Indonesian government is known throughout the world for it's brutality.

A man's hard earned money belongs to the man who earned it. Not to the government or the poor.
Anyway, no one has said that Packer does not give money to the poor. I'll bet he has given more than anyone here at EC.
