Are you feeling the pinch?

Postby Shazzam » Tue Sep 30, 2008 6:27 am

I thought I would post this topic as I know many Australians are really feeling strain (financially). There are many families that are unable to meet their mortgage commitments as interest rates rise, fuel prices and groceries become increasingly more expensive.

It seems with recent events in Wall Street that this may roll down hill.

Are you feeling the pinch? What is happening in your Country?

I would be interested to hear whether the econmic situation that is happening in Australia is affecting other countries as well, and in what way?

I had no idea you had this problem in Australia as well. Looks like it actually is a world-wide problem.

Well in my country many businesses are being closed down, people are losing their jobs and I know some couples who are now without a job and a mortgage. It's really scary.
