HAS EC DIED???

Postby Shazzam » Tue Apr 21, 2009 10:26 am

Well this is a hard topic to write about. I have been a member of the site for many years. I have noticed over the course of the last few years that the participation level has reduced to a level that is what I would call "non-existent".

OK! So why don't we all speak up and say what we want from EC?

The Australian forum always had difficulty as there are very few Australian members. So that was expected.

I have noticed however, that most of the site is experiencing the same problem. WHAT IS GOING ON?

Have a voice! Speak out! Talk about the things you want to talk about and ask the questions that you want to ask. If you don't do this, this site probably has a limited life span which is not good.

TALK!!!

I log in nearly every day but hardly post anymore. I just don't find the threads interesting! I remember how fun this used to be. I wonder what has happened as well.

How was it fun before Dixie? Don't blame it for site, Maybe you are actually changed as well? Getting older and uglier.

Well it seems the people who was here when I joined have grown out from it. And new members.. I don't know. A good seamster could take new measures and make pants fit again, if the seams are made with reserve, but.. well in this case I'm not sure, it might be harder than that.

It's true that some interesting Internet resourses obsess a visitor for a period of time - long or short depends on a person. I was obsessed by the forum and I've not been registered on any others. I agree with Dixie - there is hardly a topic that make me pay attention on it, more advertising has (single?) appeared, "permanent" members disappeared, but I suppose it's restorable.

We don't share amusing piece of news any longer, less sensitive issues to be discussed, I've always wondered how radio show hosts find a topic to discuss every morning, why don't we then? I want the forum to be as capturing as it used to be when I first logged in and as it had been before I joined - as people say.
