Hello,

what kind of tense should I use to describe my current position in letter of application? Present simple or present perfect?

My major responsible is to provide (...). I am also responsible for (...).

or

My major responsible has been to provide (...). I have been also responsible for (...).

#1 would be normal. (N.B. My major responsibility is...)
