Infinitive Verb.

Postby pdh0224 » Sun Sep 19, 2004 11:29 pm

Dear teacher,

Mr. Ramone was often at odds with the members of his band, over dress, politics and relationships. After be began dating Linda Danielle, who had been seeing Joey, in the early 80's, Joey and Johnny stopped talking together. On their tour bus, they kept silent company, often passing messages back and forth through an intermediary. Linda, who later married him, survives Mr. Ramone, as does his mother, Estelle, who lives in Florida.

Q : Why was an infinitive verb -"be" used in the sentence?

Clearly a misprint for 'he'!
