correct sentence

Post by hanuman_2000 »

Sir,

I like to read adventures stories.

I think this sentence is not correct.
correct form may like this

1. I like to read adventurous stories.

2. I like to read adventure stories.

Which one is correct.
-------------------------------------
1. Have you found out where you were born?

2. Have you found out where you are born?

Which one is correct?

My doubt is that in (1) ,as some part is in present tense and other part is in past.

1. You are right - 'adventure stories' is correct.

2. 'Have you found out where you WERE born?' is correct - the other makes no sense!
