English grammar help. Grammar questions from ESL learners

Which ones are correct:
1-It was a car badly damaged.
2-It was a badly damaged car.
3-It was a car damaged badly.
4-It was a car which was damaged badly.

#1&3 are possible if a comma is added after 'car'.
Otherwise, all possible, with #2, of course, the most likely/natural.

Thanks Alan,

One more question. (I want to see if the comma solution will work if the verb is not "to be").

Is this sentence correct:

4-He was driving a car, badly damaged.

Conceivable, but unidiomatic.
