the same meaning?

Hello :)

I'd like to ask about the meaning of the words.

Are "depressed " and "gloomy" used interchangeably? If not, how do you use them?

When referring to people, they are similar, but 'depressed' sounds more serious and is often suggestive of a medical condition.
