A meaning of a phrase

Post by pdh0224 »

Dear teacher,

As a result, the play's Broadway set is still waiting to be taken into the Kerr, along with posters and signs for the outside of the theater. The cast, meanwhile, continues to perform this week in a tryout run at the Huntington Theater in Boston, where "Gem" has received generally favorable reviews (flawed but promising was the general tone), with particularly sparkling notices for its star, Phylicia Rashad.

Q : I think "with particularly....Rashad" mean "Phylicia Rashad" is choosed as its star in the tryout run. Right?

That would seem to be the case. (CHOSEN, by the way, not 'choosed'!).
