won't have smb.do/doing

1) I won't have you telling me what to do.
2) I won't have people talk to me like that.

In the "won't have + object + verb form" structure, which form is the more correct in modern usage?
I've encountered difference in form in grammar books.

Both are possible and equally acceptable.

The -ing form tends to be used when the action in question is actually, or has just been, occurring, while the infinitive tends to have a more general reference.
