hurt, sound + ing?

Good afternoon! Could you help me, please. Is it possible to use the verbs ' hurt, sound' in the Present Cont. Tense? And if possible, could you give examples?

Yes, it certainly is!

E.g.

Stop twisting my arm - you're hurting me!

They are sounding the alarm right now.
