cause of/for

Postby tamguatlay » Sun Nov 27, 2011 1:22 am

Dear Alan

The presence of the common mynahs has become a cause of/for concern, now that the birds are flying into my flat regularly.

Can either verb in bold be used in the above sentence?

Thanks.
