Correcting Grammar Mistakes

Postby adelvalle » Sun Dec 04, 2011 8:08 am

Hello!

I'm trying to find a grammar mistake in this phrase:

'He said that the news were very good.'

But I don't see any error, any help please?

Thank you!

--> He said that the news was very good.

'News' is singular!
