Complain of/about

1) He complained of pains in her back.
2) Dan’s been complaining of severe headaches.
3) She’s been complaining of a bad back recently.

I got to know from the dictionary that the phrasal verb “complain of” is used to say that
we feel ill or have a pain in a part of our body.
Dear Teacher, instead of “complain of” can we use “complain about” with this meaning?
