Subjunctive

Postby JamesBates » Tue Aug 28, 2012 3:00 am

I had a question. I was writing something about interpreting religious texts and wrote "We could interpret a scripture in way that it conform to reason."
Should I have used "conforms" instead? It just seemed correct to use the subjunctive here (at least in American English).

--> in such a way as to make it conform...

No need for any subjunctive here.
