since and from

Postby vims » Sat Dec 08, 2012 11:27 am

I read the following sentence in a book.

He has been working from morning.

I believe it should be since morning instead of from morning.

Please help

Strictly speaking, you are right.

Informally, however, 'from' often replaces 'since' in such time expressions.
