Hi

Could you please tell me if "carry in" could be used as a phrasal verb?
Thanks in advance

Yes, where 'in' functions as an adverb (rather than as a preposition), 'carry in' would generally be classified as a phrasal verb, e.g.

Cleopatra was carried in, wrapped inside a carpet.

However, where 'in' functions as a preposition, as in e.g.

He always carried a gun in the house.

we do not consider the combination to be phrasal.
