I have come across the following sentence in a dictionary recently:
I was not let see him.
Is this grammatically correct? Or should it be TO SEE after the verb LET
in the passive voice?
let (in passive) + bare infinitive

Re: let (in passive) + bare infinitive
Unacceptable as contemporary usage, in my view, either with or without 'to'!
--> I was not allowed to see him.
I suggest you purchase a new dictionary!
