Punctuation mark of a compound sentence

Dear teacher,
If one of the clauses of a compound sentence is a question, what punctuation mark should we use, e.g. something like:
Could you please complete this today and I will then send it out tomorrow.
Or we simply should not construct a sentence this way?
Thanks.
