Can you please tell me about 'to' in the sentences:

I went to visit my friend.
I called (to) my friend to tell them I will be late.
I arrived (to) there at 7pm.
My friend helped (to) me lift my bags.

I'm not sure exactly what you want to know, but I can tell you that the bracketed words are all incorrect/inappropriate.
