When he was drunk

Post by azz »

a. A conversation about his unruly behaviour, when he was drunk, was very beneficial.

Does this sentence work?

'When he was drunk' is supposed to modify 'his unruly behaviour' non-restrictively.

Many thanks

Deleting the commas would make the grammatical relations clearer.
