Help for the sentence structure

Post by uiossha »

Hello,

Recently I found a sentence bizarre to me in a novel.
"Feerix looked at Bloodbyrn, then directed a raised an eyebrow past Freetrick's legs at the slave girl."
Why are these two nouns being put together? a raised and an eyebrow.
Is it correct to change it to "a raised eyebrow past ..."?

Thanks very much.

The sentence is not correct as written.

Yes, 'a raised eyebrow' would be correct.
