hmmm...

Post by LadyMacbeth »

Well... I am from this kind of people who care very little about politics:(.
I claim in my country so many people are obsessed with politics that I don't have to care. And I don't care.

Anyway, I read somewhere that poverty in US has lately increased to 20% of society that lives on the verge of it:(.

Nothing specially optimistic...

PS. These Rebublicans sound really bad but I don't think Democrats would start any war on terror.
Though who knows. I have some info that family of Mr Bush was trading oil with family of Mr Bin Laden.
So he was probably jealous when Bush junior came to power. Thus many innocent died because of Big Satan propaganda...

Mostly, Democrats are against wars. Why do you think more women are Democrats in the States than men?

I have few ideas why more women than men are democrats.

But I have read something new:
Bush signs US-Mexico border fence bill

What does signing of such bill mean?

There are lots of illegal workers in the US. That didn't really worry people a lot way back when. Now, poverty in the US is on the increase and many Americans are unemployed.

The illegal workers do very manual or 'embarrassing' work for little money. Now, those poor Americans are looking to those jobs that they didn't want a decade ago. Now it's not a question of choosing, they need those jobs.

The Berlin wall was built to divide a city. The border wall will be built to separate individual countries. It's seen a s a patriotic stand. The problem is that the US still needs those illegal workers, because generally, most households cannot afford to pay a legal nanny or cleaner.

I remember reading that many would have to give up their jobs to stay at home with the kids because their job would not compensate for the increase cost of a legal worker maid or nanny.

I know three walls (from history).
1. Great China Wall
2. Berlin wall
3. Us-Mexico Wall (if ready).

The first was built to protectstate from invasions.
The second was 90% political.
The third is also protective but the same time (as I can read from your letter) US people do need those illegal immigrants.
So in my opinion they simply should employ them to more...difficult or reluctantly done jobs when baby sitting is such an interesting opportunity for US people too.
They could work on assembly lines etc (or maybe again it is also too atractive job for US people ).
(That is what dearest European Union does with my numerous compatriots these days).

But what I am driving at is also that US people should push some technological progress/make another industrial breakthrough rather than nannying kids.
Well... doth they are the highest race
compared to other nations, aren't they?

Calm down, calm down. In 90's unemployment is Poland
was roughly about 15 per cent. That is likely to be the main reason why so many your compatriots do this sort of work. Unfortunately the leaders of your country have failed to provide their citizens with lots of decent jobs. Consequently a significant number of Polish citizens just was made to agree to work on assembly lines. Do you still blame the EU for that?

Hi:)

No. I am not looking for a scapegoat. Believe me.
I am just ...stunned why I am living among people who have so little self esteem. Why do they have such problems with self-cofidence? Maybe they have few reasons to have any? I am not sure.

Well... some things are rather sure - no doubt. There is no celebrity cult in my society and I am a very specific person who has a lot of stupid problems here and rather hard life, believe me.
Maybe it's because I am just trying to be honest and I think neither low about myself nor high about other people when I really cannot see any special reaosns to think this way. I mean - I don't like licking boots. I think it is a nonsense so I would like to be among people who want to live the same way. Or least to be left alone in my thinking but no. That's the saddest thing to me - but no... :(

That's why Polish people agree to be treated beadly. Because they have strange idea that things outside are better than ours own and that people outside will help them. Of course it is a nonsense.
They will only use our weak points to make us dead even sooner. It is just life. But problem in my country is that animals here are wiser than Polish MP's who think EU is kind of everlasting charity-lamb or what. Besides they aren't able to take the money they can be given. They have no idea of how the world goes/how EU goes. The only idea they have are taxes they need to be paid ok. Besides they know nothing and don't have any need to know more what worse- they simply thrive without it :(

Well.. that's all I can say cause I don't want to make laugh here of anyone. I think I have written here enough to prove I am right:(.

Here and in life too. I don't want to feel worse. I don't feel. When others do - their right. But for me, I am not worse than many other people. Not so rich, of course, but not worse my God. And though I think Alps are the best mountains all over Europe - I know where I am from too.

This wall is a huge problem. But this issue is so controversial and causes such a pain that we'd better talk about other topics. Otherwise this topic is doomed to be locked.
