Why the Chinese Rich so Parsimony

As far as i know, In USA, company's donation for charity can be deemed as company's expenses, thus profit tax can be reduced. Many company prefer to donate money to charity in order to increase the company's reputation. I am not sure if this policy also apply to China. If so, i don't see any reason why companies in China shall not make donation.
