I have switched all my light bulbs to fluorescent ones, already years ago. the price isn't so much higher, since they working longer. (Some are still exploded since the electronic components in side have had poor connection and caused shortcuts)
Still I'm not enough careful, about saving energy. Usually I let my computer on, for the whole day, even if don't use it.

Even more effective and expensive are LED (light-emitting diode) bulbs. Lately I have seen some stores offering them. I'm not sure, if they give good enough eye friendly light though..

Here we have very injurious electricity. Since all is produce from fossil fuel (oil shale) It's harmful many ways, the burning of it produces CO2 and also mining is harmful for nature the old mine dungeons collapse and cause earth crash in and the fresh water get also polluted. They will close that power-plant soon, but seems they haven't decided yet what they build instead. Seems it will be atomic power..

Water pollution and green-house problems are both important things
I am also economizing water like bathing or washing dishes.

This weekend, I will checked whether I'm using fluorescent bulb or not.
