Strange how I'm almost local and I've never heard of this. The newest and disgusting news I've heard is the polygamy sect in Texas. 
I saw some interviews CNN made with the wives from that sect who said other people cannot judge them based on their belief about polygamy. They said it's not about whether polygamy is right or wrong, it's a personal choice. And as long as they're not hurting anyone, people cannot judge them, as only God's got a power to do it. Nuts to them!

Unbelievable!!! 
... It´s very worrying to read this kind of news, because they are happening more frequently than it should be. First, It was the case of the australian girl who was kidnapped for 7 years, then the Firtzl case and now this... I hope we don´t loose our sense of wonder after hearing this kind of news...
