yes to die

Postby Sigma » Tue Sep 20, 2005 8:20 am

Last class of Intermediate Interpretation, the teacher taught us a little English knowledge about accent. In Australia, all the letter vocalic A is readed to vocalic I, like day is readed to die!
In wwII, an Australian soldier was dispatched to the European battle field.
First day, the officer asked him:" Are you come here to die(today)?"
He replied:"No,Sir,yestoday( yes to die)!" Because he heard the officer asked him whether he come here today.
And the officer heard his reply is, yes to die!
Love my life! Love my friends! Love the world!
