The prices are simply abusive. I remember, when I started college in 1998, that using my university card the tickets were 400 pessetes (which in euros or dollars would be around 2.40). Now, 8 years later, I have to pay 5.50 euros for a ticket. And that's still "cheap" considering that in some other cities like Barcelona, a ticket is 7 euros.

I don't know how much, It's that expensive. I think last time when I went to move.. it was something ~7 years ago. But I think it's something around of 40 to 100 EEK depends of movie and time... btw. 1 €(EUR) = 15,64660 EEK... so it does the price similar to tixie's one. And if we counting the salary difference in estonia and in catalunia.. I wonder how many times it does then?

it differs due to the time! in the morning it's cheaper! you can find a ticket for a euro and a half in the morning (30 - 40 rubles) and in the evening the price un the most shick theatres may vary from 7 euros (250 rubles) to 30 (a thousand)! by the way my student salary is 1100 rubles!

it depends on the theatre! 1000 rubles in a very fashionable one! those who pay this sum of money are freak! also we've got theatres presenting the audience old and classic movies shot years ago... as a matter of fact those cinemas are times cheaper!

In Australia it depends on what state you are in for example: NSW, Queensland etc. It also depends on what region. Sydney charges about 14.00 (AUST) a ticket but where i live which is regional NSW it is about 7.00 (Aust) a ticket. Take it from me we only get it cheaper because there is nothing else here. :P
