The Guitarist

Postby gtvoshinji » Fri Feb 08, 2008 4:57 am

There are many guitarists all over the world.
There are also many kinds of music too.

I like Metal music and J-Rock(Japanese Rock).
I also play the guitar and practice every day.

So my favorite guitarist is...
Paul Gilbert :D
Jimmy Page of LED ZEPPELIN
hide of X JAPAN(A Japanese famous rock band) :)
TAKEYA of SHAME(My favorit Japanese indies band)

Tell me yours!

Learning To Play Guitar

Postby crisishampton » Fri Feb 27, 2009 9:43 am

Guitar strings are very important to the quality of sound your guitar produces. How often you change your guitar strings really depends on how often you play. Professional guitar players may change their strings before every gig. Others who don't play as often, may change their strings every two months or so. Again it really depends on how often you play and how well you take care of your guitar strings. Don't wait until your strings break before you change them.

Being a good guitarist takes a lot of effort. And finding one is a much harder task to perform. There are various qualities and expertise that become imperative to excel in this field. There may be artists who did not have any formal training while learning a guitar. But that does not prove to be a disqualification for the artist who wants to be a good guitarist.

Internet Guitar Lesson

Postby Algarpeter » Fri Mar 06, 2009 9:54 am

Guitar is one of the easiest and best instruments to get started on. It is a matter of learning a few chords and going from there. Finding the right guitar lesson should be more about finding what you like. If you want to play rock music, find a rock guitarist to teach you. If you want to play jazz, find a jazz guitarist. If you want to play classical guitar, then get you some classical lessons.

Beginner Guitar Lessons

Postby uassainbolt » Tue Mar 17, 2009 8:36 am

If you are thinking about taking guitar lessons from a local guitar teacher, then the first thing you have to know is that this has become the most expensive way of taking lessons on the guitar. Prices charged by guitar teachers vary widely. If you don't know these things then you need to go investigating online.

I think the greatest guitarist ever is CARLOS SANTANA. He also sings through his guitar (not ON)!

Do you know "Everybody's Everything" or "Jingo" or "SAMBA PA TI"?
